RONDA’S FOOD IS THE LOVE-FILLED COOKING PREPARED BY THE SPANISH GRANDMA YOU NEVER HAD
In my experience, Spanish people are generally easy going. But there is one thing that will really ruin their day. It’s when food isn’t prepared with love. Believe me, food is the most important part of the day. The Spanish have cultivated this 6th sense of detecting where the best love-filled homemade cooking is at. So don’t be shy, venture out and ask a local (usually in Spanish I am afraid!) and get a recommendation.
Prepare yourself for a taste bud explosion as Ronda has a few magnificent cooks. Restaurants that offer the finest of the Andalusian cuisine. Keep in mind though that Spanish food isn’t known to be spicy, if done well it’s an eclectic mix of sweet and salty. We found our heavenly meal in a little restaurant just outside the city walls. It didn’t look like much. But once through the door, we were captivated by the inviting smells coming from the kitchen. All ingredients were freshly bought from the market that day – one of the best meals I had.
